Client Business Manager

Functie omschrijving

  • Leads the commercial relationship with a number of GEN’s core clients
  • Executes sales efforts to target client
  • Drives the business to these clients
  • Ensures adequate performance of client teams
  • Personally engages in client brief
  • Provides input for pricing solutions
  • Responsible for delivering at assigned target clients financial targets (sales, gross margins)
  • Contributes in sales budgeting process
  • Contributes in sales funnel management
  • Identifies business development opportunities for its target audience in close cooperation with Business Development
  • Provides input into Business Development and Utility Data Systems on needs and is involved in the development of business cases
  • Participate and co-responsible for resource allocation

    Main tasks:
  • Develop annual client business plan (strategy and action) to effectively execute business growth
  • Executes in accordance with the agreed plans and ensures set budget targets are met
  • Proposes potential opportunities and builds business cases
  • Ensures sales activities are consistent with the GEN annual plan and the client business plan
  • Ensures effective coverage of the client organization, in close cooperation with other colleagues on the client team.
  • Size of the client team is determined situational
  • Partners within GEN with the client solution architect, manager Business Development, manager Utility Data Systems and knowledge practice to analyze client business performance, identify issues, define specific needs and define required solutions. Sells the solution to the client(s).
  • Ensures the pipeline composition is aligned with agreed strategies, solutions and executions
  • Plays an active role in Planning, ensuring sales buy in and securing the required resources
  • Ensures appropriate resources are prepared to execute with targeted customers
  • Conducts on-going client performance evaluations and development discussions to create a result oriented mentality
  • Effectively facilitates multi -level relationships between GEN and its clients.
  • Effectively uses KPI’s to review performance and modify strategy /tactics/operational execution
  • Understands value based pricing and applies it in conjunction with the Manager Finance
  • Manages the business facts and figures relevant to the positions role and responsibilities and can reproduce them if and when required at an instance conjunction with the Manager Finance

Functie eisen

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing or International Management and/or
  • University degree in engineering/technology/exact science studies
  • Dutch and English fluent, any additional European language is an advantage

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Unlimited contract of employment adequate to Dutch standards (with a notice period of 2 months at the end of each month).
