Functie omschrijving Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst you are responsible for providing support, analysis and project engagement for ERP & Edge solutions. You will be key in supporting multiple business initiatives and projects.

Communicating with the business on one hand and IT on the other hand comes natural to you.

This role is a critical position within the Global ITS Department as it will provide timely analysis for successfully troubleshooting issues facing the user community.

In this role you will be responsible for (among other things) the following:

  • Lead the troubleshooting and correction activities of break fix issues to a quick and complete resolution
  • Identify and prioritize improvements and enhancements to the ERP and other critical systems
  • Have a solid understanding of ERP and EDI functionality, architecture and configurations on both the supply chain and order management areas
  • Provide necessary input during the various phases of new and existing projects Provide detailed functional specifications to technical resources
  • Lead and assist in developing detailed testing scenarios, executing testing scripts, and document results; oversee application testing in the multiple functional areas
  • Document key transactions for newly implemented processes
  • Effectively work with third-party resources to provide application support
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with project stakeholders and key members

Functie eisen Senior Business Analyst


  • 7 - 10 years’ experience working in a Functional / Technical Analyst role
  • Previous experience working with Oracle EBS (preferred), SAP, a similar ERP or other enterprise software solution, EDI and experience working in an IT support team as a network admin or other support role are considered a plus
  • Strong background in multiple areas of ERP processes, including Supply Chain, Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory and BOM’s
  • Understanding best practices, concepts and theories and how to apply them in new situations and circumstances
  • Understanding of, and experience with supporting EDI transactions and partners
  • General ITS support activities such as setting up and troubleshooting PC’s, printers, drives and other network modules
  • Proven Oracle functional / configuration and or development / technical skills
  • A successful track record of working with people and processes
  • Strong working knowledge of the interdependencies of business functions
  • Manage / contribute to multiple dynamic priorities
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written). Dutch is optional
