Functie omschrijving Technical/Functional Application Manager

  • You will play a significant role in supporting the business user community, and assisting with a technology strategy that underpins growth for the Investment Solutions platform.
  • Proactively monitor and support application infrastructure, configurations, and processes, coordinating with various groups around the organization to support users and provide timely fixes for incidents.
  • Work across teams to identify the root cause of recurring production support issues and design automations/validations/health checks to eliminate these issues and facilitate long-term solutions.
  • Implement and refine support processes and practices to provide transparency in operations of systems under their purview.
  • Work with security and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment to standards and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with business stakeholders and vendors.
  • Work closely with the GTS (Global Technology Solutions) engineering team in transitioning new systems or upgrades.
  • Build a comprehensive knowledge base for systems and use to facilitate knowledge-sharing.
  • Supervise contractors and multiple third-party implementation partners concurrently as needed.

Functie eisen Technical/Functional Application Manager

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in leading the analysis and troubleshooting of performance or other system issues, driving projects to deploy functionality designed to improve or enhance user experience, monitoring platform performance, and performing routine application administration activities for proprietary and vendor software platforms.
  • Self-motivated and interested in understanding business user needs to drive efficiency and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong experience in application administration (monitoring, managing system configuration and working with infrastructure/development teams) with a record of driving system improvements.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills and strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Holds themselves and team members accountable for delivering their best work and making sure we're working on the highest priority items.
  • Has a strong technical background and feels comfortable and motivated to dive into new technologies, products and coding languages as needed.
  • Motivates and supports others on the team and helps create an inclusive team culture so everyone can feel comfortable contributing.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated workflows in Power Automate with proficiency in utilizing RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools.
  • Hands-on experience in administering data integration tools, such as SnapLogic, with a proactive approach to troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Platforms (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI)
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant overall experience, required.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Good command of the English language is required.
  • Mastering the Dutch language is an advantage.
